What a semester. Just to recap some highlights:
-celebrated four years of dating Mark
-got engaged
-saw Condoleezza Rice speak at Baylor
-finished my last fall semester as an undergraduate
-submitted 9 applications for Ph.D. programs, and
-finished a large chunk of my thesis, kind of
It's been crazy and emotional. Everything seems to start with the word "last" this year. Last Fall Parties, last Christmas on 5th, last football season as a student, last advent dinner with Cranes, the list goes on and on. I'm trying my best to make the most of my opportunities at Baylor this year. I'll still be doing sing full time next semester, as well as taking a graduate course and several other practically graduate level political science courses, and working. Oh, did I mention I'll also be trying to finish my thesis? And freaking out about grad school decisions (someone please take me and offer me a great funding package...pleeeeeeeeease).
I swear that I am not really stressed out about this. It just sounds like a lot. It's my senior year and I don't want to graduate from Baylor with any regrets.
Baylor has been such a blessing to me in so many ways. At Baylor, I have had the opportunity to have the best sisters, professors, and friends (Cranes...I'm looking at you) that anyone could ask for.
I am prepared for next semester to be even more emotional than this one. Bring it on. What will be will be; hear the bells...
