Attempt one

My first attempt at the GRE went well. I scored much higher than average, but much lower than I have come to expect from myself on standardized tests. Since I have to make sure that my score is spectacular for my grad school applications, I will be taking it again.

While it is kind of a pain to take the same test twice, I have noticed that the revised GRE is actually much more suited to my style of test taking. The one thing that I don't particularly like is the new score scale. Instead of scores being from 200-800 points per section in ten point increments, they will range from 130-170 in 1-point increments.

This time around, I'm not scared. It's good to be studying and not freaking out like I was last time. So ready to dominate this test on Saturday.
